LWL strengthens teacher education and professional development across all levels of Sierra Leone’s education system, equipping teachers and educators with the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver quality and inclusive learning. LWL supports curriculum reform and effective implementation, alongside the development of context-specific Teaching and Learning Materials that reflect Sierra Leone’s culture, values, identity, and learners’ realities. LWL helps build a skilled, motivated, inclusive, and accountable teaching workforce that translates curriculum reforms into effective classroom practice, improves learning outcomes, and prepares learners to contribute meaningfully to Sierra Leone’s development and nation-building.
